Description

The lodge and entrance to Cliffe Castle, likely built between 1875 and 1878 by George Smith of Bradford, is constructed of stone. The entrance features large octagonal piers that support a moulded pointed arch, along with a castellated parapet and turrets positioned within the tops of the piers. There are smaller pointed arches on either side, with the left arch leading to a single-storey lodge. This lodge includes a Tudor-arched doorway, bay windows, castellations, and a clustered stone chimney.
