Description
A row of two-storey sandstone cottages, built around 1810-1820, is located adjacent to Dobson Locks on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. These cottages feature a stone slate roof with eaves supported by paired brackets and have corniced chimneys. The windows are two-light square mullion types set in squared stone flush surrounds, which are also used for the doorways that lead to five-panel doors.
