Description

The Long Court Room and secondary stable and cowbier range, located to the west of Royds Hall, is a one and a half storey structure built from coursed gritstone and sandstone "brick". It dates back to the 17th century, specifically 1669, but underwent alterations in the late 18th century. The building features stone slate roofs and has three light square mullion windows. The late 18th century court room is situated above the stables at the west end, with access provided by an external stone staircase. The stone slate roof has saddlestones at the western end, which is topped by a corniced chimney.
