Description
The garden wall, dating from the early to mid 18th century, is constructed of red brick and features a copped top. It runs from the south-west corner of Royds Hall and ends above a ha-ha, leading to a single-bay red brick summer house. The wall includes ashlar quoins, a frieze cornice, and a parapet. There is one window on both the south and east fronts, which are fitted with 18th-century glazing bar sashes. Additionally, the structure has a fluted pilaster doorway adorned with Gibbs voussoirs that support a keyed archivolt arch.
