Description

Nos 2 to 10 on Friendly Street are a row of early 19th century cottages that are back to back with and part of the same development as Nos 1 to 11 Priestley Street. The cottages are two and three storeys high due to the slope of the land. They are constructed from sandstone "brick" and feature stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. The south gable and return wall is shared with No 1 Priestley Street. The cottages have two-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds and squared jamb doorways. They are included in the listing for their group value.
