Description
This mill chimney, located approximately 3 metres south of the main mill buildings at Black Dyke Mills, was constructed between 1854 and 1868 for John Foster and Son. It is made of hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings. The chimney is tall, octagonal, and tapers from a square base. It features a broad moulded cornice and iron tie-rings.
