Description

Lees Farm is a house dating from the mid-to-late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a stone slate roof. The house originally comprised three bays, with projecting quoins visible at the right end. The windows are mullion windows set within projecting stone surrounds. The central doorway is a 20th-century addition, featuring a Tuscan doorcase with pilasters, a frieze, a cornice, and a pediment, above which is a round-headed window within a stone architrave complete with a moulded lintel and cill, a keystone, and impost blocks. A covetto eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. Chimneys are situated at each end of the house. The rear elevation features chamfered mullion windows, including a stair window. The interior retains original ceiling beams and a stone fireplace. A cupboard previously mentioned in the original listing has been removed.
