Description
The Dog and Gun Public House, located at 144 St Enoch's Road in Wibsey, dates from around 1800 and was likely originally built as two pairs of back-to-back cottages, with a slightly later single bay extension. The building is two storeys high and constructed from irregular large stone "bricks." It features a stone slate roof with saddlestones and a large shaped kneeler on the west gable end. A prominent central chimney stack is present. The façade includes three-light square mullion windows and later small single-light windows, all set in squared surrounds. Additionally, there is a small pane iron casement window on the gable end, while the rear elevation boasts a seven-light square mullion window.
