Description
32 Manor Row is a town house dating from around 1820, featuring two storeys and dressed sandstone that resembles brick. The front has three bays, with the ground floor extended to accommodate a shop. The roof is gable end, covered with stone slates and has flat, boxed eaves. The gable ends are coped and topped with corniced chimney stacks. On the first floor, there are plate glass sash windows set in shallow reveals. The shop front, added around 1880-1890, showcases Renaissance decorative details, including four plate glass windows with panelled risers and a panelled and glazed door, framed by Composite pilasters on panelled pedestals. These pedestals are adorned with strapwork and medallion profiled heads, and the pilasters are doubled at the corners. Above the cornice, there is a balustraded parapet that is articulated by dies.
