Description
The main block of Hill Top Primary School, built around 1880, is a Jacobeathan style primary school established by the Bradford School Board. It incorporates a late 17th century or early 18th century cottage or part of a house. The school is a single-storey structure made of sandstone "brick" with ashlar dressings. It features mullion-transomed windows and gables. The cottage at the east end is two-storey, constructed from coursed gritstone with a stone slate roof. The south front of the cottage has a three-light chamfered mullion window on the ground floor and four-centred arched doorways. Additionally, there are two-light chamfered mullion windows on the gable end and the rear elevation.
