Description
The building at 5-11 Allerton Lane comprises a row of six houses, forming a wing at a right angle to a similar row in Old Road. Dating to the 18th century, the houses are constructed of sandstone, which appears as brick. They have stone slate roofs with decorative "dentil" brackets to the eaves. A horizontal band runs along the first-floor sills, and each house has three-light square mullion windows. The doorways are simple and made of squared stone.
