Description

Nos 35A, 37, and 39 on School Green are a mid-18th century farmhouse that was altered into two cottages around 1800 to 1830. The building is two-storeys high and constructed from painted gritstone, topped with a stone slate roof featuring moulded stone eaves. The east gable end has a saddlestone with kneelers. The front façade includes two and three-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds, with a similar window at the rear and a large mullion and transom stair light.
