Description
This listing describes a set of steps, flanking walls, and carved urns located 150 metres south-west of Farfield Hall. Dating from the mid-18th century, the structure is made of dressed stone. It features a flight of eight stone steps, with each riser designed as an impost. On either side of the steps are square piers connected by low walls that have ramped coping. The top piers are topped with sculptured urns that are carved to resemble flaming torches. This structure is included for its group value.
