Description
Pollit Farmhouse and the adjoining barn is a small farmhouse from the mid to late 18th century. It is two storeys high and constructed of coursed gritstone with a stone slate roof, featuring saddlestones and kneelers, as well as corniced chimneys. The south front has three bays, with wood casements that have replica mullions set in squared surrounds. Above the gabled porch, there is a central oval window. The barn, which is attached, has flush quoins, a stone slate roof, and later openings.
