Description

This commemorative stone, dated 1871, is located approximately 100 metres east of number 5 on Perseverance Road in Queensbury. The stone consists of three blocks: a square base, an elliptical middle section, and a pyramidal cap with a square base. The stone is inscribed with the words "PERSEVERANCE ROAD OPENED NOV 4 1871 LOCAL BOARD." Additionally, the names of the officials of the local board are inscribed on the square base.
