Description

This is an early 19th-century row of six cottages, numbered 6 to 12, on Beck Hill in Buttershaw. The cottages are built of irregular sandstone "bricks" and have stone slate roofs. They are stepped up the hillside. Each cottage has a single-light window to the first floor and two-light square mullion windows to the ground floor, all set within plain flush stone frames. The doorways are also in flush stone frames.
