Description

A farmhouse, now converted into three cottages, was originally built in 1649 and substantially rebuilt around 1790, with later alterations in the late 20th century. The building is constructed from sandstone that resembles brick, with stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. It is two storeys high. The front has two three-light and two two-light square mullion windows with flush ashlar surrounds on both floors. A plain doorway incorporates an earlier panel inscribed "I R M over 1649" and a frieze reading "T H over 1790." The rear elevation has similar windows, plus a double transomed stair light.
