Description
9 Tong Lane is a former pair of early 18th century cottages built in two phases. The cottages are two-storey structures made of coursed gritstone, featuring large quoins on the earlier part. They have a stone slate roof with corniced chimneys. Both sections include three-light chamfered mullion windows, with drip moulds above the ground floor windows. The doorways are plain squared jambs and date from the late 18th century.
