Description

Nos 3 to 13 on Alderscholes Lane are a row of sandstone "brick" cottages dating from around 1830. The main front faces south, while the back is oriented towards the road. These cottages feature stone slate roofs with corniced chimneys. The windows are two-light square mullions set in squared surrounds, with some blocked four-light windows facing the road. The doorways have squared jambs.
