Description
Lincolnshire House comprises numbers 129 and 131 on Godwin Street, along with numbers 2 and 4 Rawson Place. This building was constructed in 1883 as a corner block. It is four storeys and an attic in height, with an ashlar facade and a splayed corner. The building features a plinth, plat bands, cornice, and parapet. Pediments with anthemion ornament are above the first-floor windows. Vertically linked architraves and apron panels are used to enhance the perceived height. Shop fronts are present on the ground floor. The eaves cornice is deeply carved with consoles, and semi-circular crowned dormers are located within the parapet.
