Description

This barn, located approximately 70 metres north-north-east of Elam Grange, dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed of stone and features a stone slate roof. The barn is aisled and consists of four bays. On the east side, there is a large square opening, along with three chamfered doorways and small aisle lights, some of which are also chamfered. The roof has a low pitch and is finished with copings. Inside, the structure includes crucks set on padstones and a trussed rafter roof supported by braced uprights.
