Description
Utley House is a house dating to the 17th century, with additions from the early 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of dressed stone with a stone slate roof. The main house is two storeys high with three windows on the first floor. A doorway is topped by a segmental arch. Mullioned windows are present, with 4 and 7 lights to the left of the door, 6 lights to the right, and 3, 4, and 5 lights above. To the east, a 19th-century extension continues the style of the original building. A two-storey addition at the rear, dated 1705 on the keystone of its door, includes a stair window with Gothic glazing. The kitchen in the rear addition features an arched fireplace.
