Cutlery works, now workshops. c1880. Brick with painted ashlar dressings and slate mansard roof with 4 ridge and 2 gable stacks. Plinth, second floor sillband, dentilled eaves, coped gables. 2 storeys plus attics; 11 window range. 4 blocks with regular fenestration surrounding a rectangular yard. To left, eight 2 storey round-arched recesses, each with a round-arched plain sash above and a segment-arched glazing bar window below. To right, entrance bay with 2 smaller round-arched windows set in recesses above a doorway with quoins and moulded lintel with label mould and finial. Moulded 9-panel door. To right again, a similar pair of small windows above a flat-headed cart entrance with shallow buttresses and lintel with label mould. The lintel has the works' name painted on. To right again, a 2 storey recess with a round-arched plain sash above, and a segment-arched door below. Second floor has 23 segment-arched glazing bar casements, and in the end bay to the right, a segment-arched plain sash. Attic has continuous fenestration with 4-pane casements. INTERIOR not inspected.
