Description
Montgomery Chambers is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from around 1820 and raised in height around 1950. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and has a single brick stack on the side, with the roof not visible. It features a rusticated plinth, giant pilasters, and a cornice. The structure is two storeys tall with attics and has a three-window range. The front includes three 12-pane sash windows, with three small 20th-century two-light casements above. The central entrance has a double door flanked by small pilasters and an overlight, with single 12-pane sashes on either side. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included in the register for its group value.
