Description
No. 11 East Parade is a house, now used as offices, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a roof that is not visible and features two brick side wall stacks. The building is designed in the Gothick style and includes a plinth, sill band, string courses, a cornice, and a crenellated parapet. It has three storeys and a four-window range. The façade features four 12-pane sash windows with Gothick glazing bars and chamfered pointed heads, each with hoodmoulds. Above these are four double lancet windows with glazing bars, central mullions, and label moulds. The ground floor has bays defined by clustered round shafts, a string course, and a full-width panel with lozenges above it. The off-centre panelled door is flanked on the left by a window and on the right by two windows, all with chamfered pointed heads and hoodmoulds. The fanlight and 12-pane sashes display Gothick tracery. The interior has not been inspected.
