Description
The former stables and coach house at Number 3 Mount Pleasant Community Centre, built around 1770, now serves as offices. The building is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a hipped slate roof. It has a plinth, an impost band, and moulded eaves. The structure is two stories tall and has a seven-window range. The windows include 12-pane sashes and 20th-century top-hung casements, all set beneath brick flat arches.
The central pavilion is slightly projecting and topped with a pyramidal roof that has a finial. It contains a round-headed recess with a Venetian window, flanked by three top-hung casements that mimic 6-pane sashes. Below this, there is a central round-headed recess with a two-leaf 12-panel door and a fanlight. On either side, three round-headed recesses each contain a sash window, with the central sashes being larger. There are single window returns on the sides. The interior has not been inspected.
