Description

Gate piers located 20 meters north-west of number 457 on Glossop Road, built around 1838, are likely designed by William Flockton. They are made of ashlar stone and exhibit an Egyptian style. The structure features four square tapered piers with plinths and shallow cross gabled caps, although two caps were removed at the time of the survey. These piers are included for their group value.
