Description

The Crucible Stack is a late 19th-century brick structure located on Blonk Street in Sheffield. It features a rendered side wall and stone coping, with cogged eaves and approximately four flues. This stack is an example of the many small steel works that once existed, which supported the output of larger bulk producers. A photograph from around 1899 is provided by Sheffield City Council.
