Description
This building is a lodge located near the south entrance to the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof topped with three coped lozenge-shaped ridge stacks. The lodge has a plinth and Gothic traceried bargeboards, and it is a single-storey structure with a cross plan and a three-window range. The central door is half-glazed and has a cornice above it, with a set back 2-light casement window on either side. The interior has not been inspected.
