Stableblock and coach-house, now commercial premises, and attached wall with gate piers. Late C19. Deeply coursed dressed-sandstone, stone slate roofs. U-snaped plan around courtyard. Central block 5 bays, gabled wing ends have 1 window to first floor. Quoins. Wood casements with mullion, transom and glazing bars. All gables with moulded kneelers and copings, Central block:central gabled bay breaking forward with large 3-centred archway beneath ledge to first floor part-glazed door. Ashlar-framed plaque above. Outer bays with window to each floor. Central weathervane to ridge louvre and chimney to left. Flanking wings both have 5-bay facades. Wing to left: central gabled bay breaking forward, central door and ledge to upper door, Inserted garage door to bays 1 and 2. Wing to right: central gabled bay flush. 3 bay glazed canopy to 2 square-headed carriage entrances, door to each outer bay. 5 windows to first floor, central window higher. Front of courtyard enclosed by coped wall to central monolithic gate piers each with band, domed cap and ball finial.
