Description
The Succah, located 2 meters south-west of the Synagogue, is a ritual booth built between 1929 and 1930 by Mansell Jenkinson. It is constructed of brick with reconstituted stone dressings and is a single-storey building featuring a flat roof that can slide aside on tracks to reveal the interior. The front has a double door with an overlight, flanked by one window on the left and two on the right. The right end is canted and includes a door with an overlight, also flanked by single windows. This succah serves as an important ancillary building to the synagogue and is used for worship during the feast of Tabernacles.
