Description
The Duck House at Home Farm is a duck house built in the late 19th century or early 20th century for the Wentworth estate. It is constructed from rock-faced sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The building is circular and single-storey, with a curved, boarded door on the north side set in a rock-faced surround. The plinth has small openings, each fitted with an iron-plate door. There are three small windows positioned around the building beneath the overhanging eaves, and it is topped with a conical roof that has a finial.
Inside, there is a circular ashlar bench that encloses nesting compartments, with iron lids covering round access-holes.
