Description
The gates and gatepiers to the Brodsworth Hall estate were built in the early 19th century. They are made of ashlar limestone and feature iron gates. The structure includes two pairs of gate piers, with a central carriage gate flanked by side gates. Concave wing walls extend outward and end at matching piers. Each pier has a moulded plinth, a monolithic square shaft, and a cornice topped with a large ball finial. The linking walls are constructed of deeply-coursed stone with ashlar coping. The iron gates are cross-braced and display central emblems.
