Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 30 metres behind Vine Cottage, is a coach-house and stables that has been converted into a garage. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed from rubble magnesian limestone with stone slate eaves courses beneath a renewed pantile roof. The building is single-storey and consists of four bays. Stone piers separate four round arches that feature brick voussoirs. On the right side, there is a blind round arch. Inside, there is a diaphragm arch between the third and fourth bays, and a feeding rack is present in the first bay. This structure is included for its group value with Vine Cottage.
