Description

The L-shaped barn range at Fox Farm, located at the junction with Bramwith Lane, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof. The barn is two storeys high and consists of a six by six-bay layout.

On the south-west side facing Bramwith Lane, there is a basket-arched entrance positioned to the right of the centre, with a stone-quoined opening to the left that is blocked. The first floor has two boarded hatches located beneath segmental arches, along with slit vents. There is an eaves band, and the roof has a hip at the left end, while the right end features kneelers and ashlar gable copings.

On the right return, there is a boarded hatch beneath a segmental arch at the end gable. The return range of the barn, set back on the right, includes an enlarged waggon entrance on the left and a first-floor hatch on the right. The end gable on the right also has shaped kneelers and ashlar copings.

Other attached farm buildings are present but are not of special interest.
