Description
This is a cartshed built around 1800, located approximately 10 metres southwest of Bilham House Farmhouse. It is constructed from limestone rubble with stone slate eaves courses and a pantile roof. The structure is single storey and consists of six bays. It features cylindrical piers on padstones with square abaci supporting a wooden arcade plate. In the first bay, there is a door to the right of a horizontally-sliding sash window with glazing bars. The second bay has boarded doors, while bay six has later wood infill.
Inside, there is a partition wall between bays two and three, and the building has pattern-book king-post trusses. This cartshed is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
