Description
This gazebo, located approximately 15 metres north of Bramwith Hall, dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from stuccoed brick, and its roof is not visible. The structure is a two-storey, single-celled square turret with a small two-storey outshut on the rear left.
On the north-west side, there are two panelled doors, and above them is a balcony featuring a wave-formed iron balustrade. This balcony overlooks a pointed-arched double door with a fanlight, and there are leaded lights in the door, fanlight, and in the lancet openings on either side. A band runs beneath the embattled parapet, which has corner blocks.
The rear of the gazebo includes an outshut on the right that has a lancet window and a lean-to slated roof. On the right return, there is a door with an arched overlight on the right, which serves an outside toilet. The first floor features a coupled-lancet window with a projecting sill and leaded lights, with a similar window on the first floor of the left return.
