Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in an irregular bond and features stone slate eaves courses on a fireclay tile roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with three windows on the first floor. There is a later outshut to the rear and a single-storey addition to the right end. The main range has a part-glazed door to the left, which is topped by a flat brick arch. To the far left, there is a two-light horizontally-sliding sash window with glazing bars, and to the right of the door, there are two similar three-light windows, all of which have segmental brick arches. The matching first-floor windows are also three-light. The farmhouse features an eaves band, brick end stacks, and a ridge stack above the door. The addition to the right is set back and has a door to its left, with stone slate eaves courses on a pantile roof and an end stack. Inside, the attic of the main house reveals exposed collared principal-rafter roof trusses.
