Description

No. 40 Sunderland Street is an 18th-century building that has been rendered and features a modern pantiled roof. The structure has coped stone gables supported by cut kneelers. It stands three storeys tall and consists of three bays with flush-framed sash windows. The entrance includes double glazed doors with marginal glazing bars, set within a wooden frame topped by a pediment on scrolled consoles. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing that contains Yorkshire sashes and sashes with glazing bars.
