Description

SE20SW DUNFORD LEE LANE SE20000354 (south side, off) Hazlehead Cattle shelter, 6/12 approx. 150 metres south-west of junction with track to Hazlehead Hall II Cattle shelter. Probably mid to late C19 with C20 repairs. Squared, coursed rubble. Welsh slate roof. Square plan with diagonal walls radiating from small square central chamber which is entered on the north side. Two monolithic stone posts, on each side, support the eaves of the pyramidal roof. An unusual type of agricultural building.
