Description

This is a graveslab located approximately 5 meters south-west of the tower of the Church of All Saints in Wombersley. It dates from around 1718 and is made of sandstone. The slab features relief decoration of vines along the edge and within an arch at the top. It commemorates Mary, the daughter of Laurens Wombersley of Eastfield and wife of John Woodcock, who died on January 11th, 1717/8 at the age of 33 years.
