Description

The dovecot and cart house at Banks Hall Farm dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed dressed stone with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of a single cell. There is a flat-arched cart entrance with quoined jambs, and a band near the top of the structure above which is a lunette window. The roof is pyramidal in shape. A similar lunette window is located at the rear, and there is a small square window on the left return. The attached outbuildings are not of special interest.
