Description
This barn, located to the south of Willow Farmhouse, is likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century, incorporating materials from the 17th century. It is constructed of deeply-coursed squared rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has quoins and a near-central elliptical-arched cart entrance. To the left, there are two smaller Tudor-arched entrances, with the far left entrance partially blocked, both surrounded by quoined detailing. Additionally, there are two high-level pitching holes, also with quoined surrounds, and gable copings supported by moulded kneelers. Inside, the barn has sawn softwood king-post trusses with struts. This structure is included for its group value.
