Description

32 Walmgate is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from around 1840, though it likely has earlier origins. The building features painted render and plaster, with timber guttering supported by paired block brackets beneath a steeply pitched slate roof.

The exterior presents a three-storey, two-window front. The shopfront consists of glazed double doors flanked by plate glass windows. The first and second floor windows are 12-pane sashes, with the first-floor windows being taller, and all have painted sills and keyed wedge lintels.

The interior has not been inspected, but records indicate that there are 15th-century timbers still present inside.
