Description

This is an early 18th-century house, later used as offices, with an extension added in the mid-19th century and renovated around 1980. The front facade is of orange brick laid in an English garden-wall bond, originally painted, and sits on a painted stone plinth. The rear wing is of orange-brown brick also in an English garden-wall bond. A timber cornice and doorcase are present. The roof is tiled with pantiles, and there are brick stacks.

The building is two storeys and attics, with a four-bay front. The doorcase, located to the right of the centre, features sunk-panel jambs, a cornice hood supported by elaborate foliate consoles, and a six-panelled door with a divided overlight. All windows are 12-pane sashes with painted stone sills and flat brick arches. Plain guttering is fixed to block brackets. Flat-topped dormers containing squat six-pane sashes are visible in the attic.

According to historical records, the original staircase rises from the ground floor to the attic, featuring heavy turned balusters, square newels, and attached half balusters. The interior was not inspected for this listing.
