Description
Dunnington Hall is a house built in the mid 18th century, with later additions and alterations, including a rear extension from around 1900. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with red brick dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys high with a basement and features three bays. The basement has casement windows set under elliptical arches made of red rubbed brick. Access to the central entrance is via nine steps leading to a 20th-century glazed double door with an overlight featuring glazing bars, all beneath a triangular pediment. The ground floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 16-pane sashes, and the second floor features 12-pane unequally-hung sashes, all under flat arches of red gauged brick. The building is topped with a modillion eaves cornice and has end stacks. Inside, most windows are fitted with shutters.
