Description

Beech Tree Cottage is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a roof covered in French tiles. The entrance features a six-panel door surmounted by an overlight with Gothic glazing. The windows are four-pane sashes, set within flat rubbed brick arches. The gables have coping, with end stacks projecting upwards. There is tumbling-in detail to the gable ends. The building is included on the heritage list for its contribution to the character of the group of buildings in the area.
