Description

Rydal House is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, featuring a 19th-century porch and a 20th-century addition on the left. The building is constructed of brick in random bond and has a pantile roof. It has a central entrance with an outshut to the left and stands two storeys high with three bays. The gabled porch includes a four-panel door flanked by four-pane sash windows under flat brick arches. On the first floor, there are also four-pane sashes. The house has gable coping and end stacks, with a pent roof on the addition and tumbling-in to the gable ends. It is included for its group value.
