Description

The coach house to Dunnington Hall is an early 19th-century structure featuring a dovecot above. It is built from pinkish-brown brick with red brick dressings and has a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of a single bay. It has full-height round-arched recesses on three sides and an elliptical carriage arch with double plank doors. On the first floor, there is a blind oculus, with the left side featuring glazing bars in the upper half and pigeon holes with a shelf in the lower half. The building is adorned with a dentil cornice and has a hipped roof, topped with a central lantern and a weather vane. Inside, there are tile nesting boxes.
