Description

Sycamore House is a late 18th-century brick house with a pantile roof, located on the west side of Main Street in Holtby. The building features a central-hallway entry and stands two storeys tall with three bays. The entrance has a 20th-century door with six fielded panels and an overlight, flanked by replacement sash windows that include glazing bars. The first floor has a band and nine-pane unequal sashes. The house is characterized by a stepped eaves course, gable coping, and end stacks, with tumbling-in to the gable ends. It is included for its group value context.
